Blur es el nombre de una banda inglesa de Britpop. Llamada Seymour en un principio, el nombre se adoptó por orden de la discográfica. Blur se formó en Londres en 1989 por Damon Albarn (vocalista, tecladista, guitarrista), Graham Coxon (guitarrista) y Alex James (bajista). Posteriormente, el batería Dave Rowntree se unió a la formación. Blur fue una de las bandas británicas que aparecieron en el inicio de la caída del grupo británico The Stone Roses, mezclando psicodelia pop rock con fuertes guitarras. Blur is an alternative rock band which formed in Colchester, England in 1989. Blur's debut album Leisure (1991) incorporated the sounds of Madchester and Shoegazing and spawned their first UK Top 10 single, There's No Other Way.
